Breathing to Optimize Maximal Strength and Power

French Press Diaphragmatic Breathing

Personal Trainers and Strength Coaches:

Do you work with clients who want to quickly build strength, muscle size, and a toned midsection?

Clients need trunk stability to progress effectively with resistance training. "Engage your abs," "Activate your core," or "Tighten your abs" are well-intended cues to provide trunk stability, but they are too vague for the client to translate into effective trunk stability.

As a result (some) clients experience back pain, visible spinal instability or a plain lack of progress.

French Press Diaphragmatic Breathing is a technique that optimizes trunk stability during resistance training.

In this 90-minute, free, hands-on workshop, you will learn

  • A proven 4-step progression to teach clients French press diaphragmatic breathing.

  • The exact cues to give clients

  • Three highly effective cueing short-cuts so clients improve quickly

  • Test to assess if a client is breathing correctly.

  • Integrate French Press Diaphragmatic Breathing with Respiratory Muscle Training during cardiovascular exercise (for even faster results)

You will leave the workshop confident you can help your client safely and effectively build trunk stability and optimize their progress.
