The FPM Bodyweight Training Specialist program offers science-based yet extraordinary
practical tools to master the following common scenarios encountered by
strength coaches and personal trainers:

  • It is a challenge to “fit in’ all the exercises into the training program that the client should be working on.

  • The client overall has little time to train (1-3 times per week).

  • The client needs a new training stimulus to make further progress but increasing the time to train is not an option.

  • The client is overtraining and you need to reduce the training time without losing gains.

  • You don’t have a lot of time to create written training programs, yet you want to help your clients achieve the best possible results (faster!).

Most traditional bodyweight training courses focus on teaching a lot of different exercises or proper execution and program design of a limited number of exercises. 

In contrast, the FPM Bodyweight Training Specialist program focuses on selected techniques that provide your clients with a stronger training stimulus without adding training time.  

The FPM Bodyweight Training Specialist program consists of two 8-hour days of training that can be attended in any order.

To achieve the status of specialist, an optional multiple choice test must be completed after both days of training are completed.

After this 8-hour, 100% hands-on workshop you will walk away with the tools to help your athletes or fitness clients: 

  • experience immediate gains in strength with functional muscle control techniques.

  • use friction as an added source of resistance to see faster results.

  • utilize Combination Exercises and Two Point Loading to fit more exercises into their training programs.

  • engage in self-resisted or partner-resisted exercises that produce faster results when they are limited in training time.

  • use technology (eg. suspension training) to avoid overtraining by reducing the training time while maintaining the training stimulus.

After this 8-hour, 100% hands-on workshop you will walk away with the tools to help your athletes or fitness clients achieve faster results by
  • developing better stabilizer activation from dynamic perturbations.

  • executing perfect muscle activation in each repetition caused by strategic touch.

  • optimizing the use of rest periods with visualization or flexibility exercises (the latter stimulates hypertrophy).

  • planning optimal synergy between the warm up, main part and cool down of the training program.

  • And much more!
